Rothwell Methodist Church is a friendly, welcoming church of  about 100 members together with adherents and young people. In about 1972 wooden pews were removed to create a more multi-purpose building to allow for a range of activities during the week, including children's uniformed organisations and ladies' meetings. Additionally, the building is used by the wider community. There is a long tradition of work with children and young people both on Sundays and throughout the week. The church is also recognised as an 'eco-congregation'. 

We are a group of ordinary people living out a commitment to God's love and the life and teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ in today's world.

7.30 p.m.  - Weightwatchers

7.30 p.m. -  Depression Group (fortnightly)

Tuesday

1.30 to 3.00 p.m. - Yoga

2.30 p.m. -  Ladies’ Fellowship

7.00 p.m. Girls' Brigade

Wednesday

7.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.  Mary Kay Cosmetics’ Group

7.30 p.m. Singing Group (alternate weeks)

Thursday:-      

2.00 to 4.00 p.m. - Over 60s Club

6.00 p.m. - Brownies

7.30 p.m. Bible Study & Prayer Group (please enquire for dates)

8.00 p.m. Thursday Club

Saturdays:    

9.30 a.m. onwards – regular coffee mornings and sales (not every week)
